During my Spring Break from teaching, Ryan and I took a trip to BC. We'd been planning to take a vacation of some sort since we've been married because we didn't get a honeymoon due to my illness. This came at the perfect time - before baby arrives and JUST in time for Ryan to use his vacation time from the last job. Yay! So we drove to BC, saw the sights, and visited a few people from my mission. It was cold and rainy most of the time (which I should have expected), but we had fun anyway. Now when I brag about beautiful BC, Ryan will understand why.
We spent one Sunday in Canada and went to church in Vancouver, my first area. There are lots of Filipinos in that ward, so Ryan got to attend the Filipino Sunday School. Everyone there is SUPER excited about the new temple; the open house starts this week. Also, a member family had us and some current missionaries over for dinner, and we learned that the work in BC has finally taken off! I am so grateful that the people there are more receptive and that I got to see a few of the folks who I grew to love while there.
